We are an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, International, serving both Riley and Pottawatomie counties. We develop our own resources and funds to build affordable housing in our area. This happens through new construction, rehabilitation, neighborhood revitalization, home repair, and affordable housing advocacy. We are an HFH Aging in Place and a Veteranβs Affiliate and address/advocate for these issues as well. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Habitat homeownership contributes to healthier families, greater success in school, more economic opportunity for families, and revitalized neighborhoods. For twenty-five years, Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity has worked alongside community partners to help families on their homeownership journey. We have built 30 homes in Riley and Pottawatomie counties and only continue to grow. A home is more than four walls and a roof. Itβs a place to rest, a place to learn and a place that can shape your future.

Thank you to the amazing crew at @piccalilli_farm for growing and baking an amazing spread for this year's Pi(e) Day fundraiser! Thanks to their hard work and the community's commitment to eating tasty pies, we were able to raise $800 for our current home build in Ogden. Our partners at Fort Riley @hbibuildingcareers will put these funds to work right away when shingles go on the roof on Friday! π¨π¨π¨
