Sponsored by Staley School of Leadership Studies, HandsOn K-State (K-State Volunteer Center of Manhattan), Furniture Amnesty Day in Manhattan is designed to coincide with the biggest move-out day for renters in Manhattan. It keeps the streets from filling up with unwanted furniture, provides furniture (for free) for those willing to stand in line and sign up for a time slot, and keeps A LOT of material out of our landfill. A win-win-win all around in our book!
