celebrate pi(e) day

We have partnered with five local businesses for a fundraiser in support of Build #30. Purchase a pie in celebration of Pi Day (3/14) and a portion of the proceeds will directly support our upcoming home build. Below you will find information about each of our partner bakers and how to order your tasty treats!

Arrow Coffee Co. is supporting MAHFH through their new philanthropic endeavor called “A Slice of Nice”. For this program, Arrow selects a community organization to support and then sells slices of delicious treats and donates the proceeds.

Each slice is $15 and all $15 will go directly to MAHFH. You can purchase slices in-store or on their website.

Visit their Website: Arrow Coffee Co.

Bourbon & Baker will be featuring their Boozy Tollhouse pie from 3/12-3/13 in support of MAHFH. Whole pies will be available by pre-order at least 24 hours in advance. Ordering can be done through their website or by calling the bakery. The pies will sell for $27. Their online ordering platform only allows for orders within 7 days of pickup, but guests can always call in orders before that.

Bourbon & Baker has offered to donate $1 per slice and $5 per pie to MAHFH.

Little Batch will be offering Mixed Berry Hand Pies, Lemon Meringue, Coconut Cream, and Banoffee. Pies can be picked up at the shop or can delivered in Manhattan area for a small fee. Little Batch is also offering pick up at the Farmer’s Market that weekend.

Little Batch will be donating a portion of the sales from pies sales placed for pickup on Saturday 3/13.

Piccalilli Farm will be hosting a pop-up event on the patio of Public Hall in celebration of Pi(e) Day! Pre-orders will be taken for curbside and carry out, and they will be set up on Sunday 3/14 from 1-4 pm! Stay tuned for the menu, but rest assured there will be plenty of seasonal citrus treats and preserved local goodies pulled from the Piccalilli larder for a swoon-worthy array of pies.

A portion of proceeds from sales scheduled for pick up on 3/14 will be donated to MAHFH.

TheraPie will be offering an assortment of pies for Pi(e) Day. They will be donating a portion of sales placed for pickup on the day of Saturday 3/13. When ordering pies, there is an option to order for “later” (instead of ASAP) and guests can change pickup to March 13th.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day by supporting Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity! We have partnered with Steve’s Floral and Liquid Art Winery to craft a beautiful Valentine’s gift that will be delivered right to your porch! This gift includes a wine, chocolate, and a contribution to the 30th build for MAHFH.

home is where the heart is.

Chocolate, Tea & Wine is a fundraising event every April hosted by Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity. Designed to raise funds to support the affiliate, it is a fun-for-all-ages afternoon that includes over 100 silent and live auctions, a chocolate fountain, coffee, tea, wine and goodies.

We’re always looking for new committee members for Chocolate, Tea & Wine 2020. We meet monthly from January to April. Please contact Carol Bredesen (cbredesen@cox.net) for more information or to volunteer.

Chocolate, Tea & Wine is Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity’s signature fundraiser – and our 2019 event was better than ever! Please be sure to join us again (or for the first time) at this year’s event.
