All Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law and will be acknowledged with a letter you may use for those purposes.
Make a One-Time Donation
You can mail a check to our office:

Or you can donate online here.
Become a Builder’s Club Member
The Builder’s Club is a cornerstone of Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity. Members are individuals, businesses, and organizations willing to pledge at least $50 toward each Habitat home built (up to 2 per year). These donations provide our affiliate with a consistent and reliable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead for future builds. Download and fill out a pledge form. Return it to us with your donation toward our current home build, and we will notify you when each new build begins.
Donate to ReStore
When you donate to ReStore, you not only help build homes, you also help the environment by keeping usable items out of landfills.
See our ReStore page for more information.
Recycle Your Aluminum Cans
Want to get rid of your aluminum cans and contribute to Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity?
Take your aluminum cans to Howie’s Recycling Center and place them in the bin marked “Habitat for Humanity,” just inside the door.
Recycling cans helps the environment and it helps our affiliate build homes!
Donate a Vehicle
The car donation process is quick and easy. It can be accomplished online at www.carsforhomes.org or with a toll-free phone call to 1-877-277-4344.
- Proceeds from the sale of your car will help Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity build and renovate houses with families in need.

- Recycling your car saves energy and natural resources.
Sponsor a House
House sponsors contribute both financially to the costs of home construction and also provide volunteer support to build each home. It’s a great way to build a stronger team within your business or organization, and to show your group’s commitment to affordable housing in the Manhattan area. Plus, you’ll have a lot of fun along the way!
Full and partial sponsorships are available, and we can tailor the sponsorship to meet the needs of your organization or group.
We can’t fulfill our mission of creating affordable housing in the Manhattan area without land to build upon. If you own land in Riley or Pottawatomie Counties that you’d like to donate or sell at fair appraisal value, we’d love to talk with you.
You can choose to support Habitat through planned gifts, which may qualify for significant tax deductions. To find out how you can build a lasting legacy with Habitat, please contact us.
MAHFH is a volunteer-driven organization that welcomes people from all backgrounds. To learn more, take a look at our volunteer page.
